What is CAM 3030?

CAM 3030 is an embosser that introduces innovative options. This embosser can be configured with various modules for data capturing such as barcode reader for the front and the back of cards as well as 100% vision inspection system to optically match and verify card data with a database and cross check of personalization data. CAM 3030 is also available with a magnetic read back station as well as read back station for contact and contactless cards.

Advantages of CAM 3030 embossers

CAM 3030 has a new card and carrier transport system as well as optimized card affixing label station. The replacement of card affixing label supply roll is easy and fast maximizing throughput of production. The card transportation on CAM 3030 has been designed in such a way that it eliminates scratches on both sides of cards. This embosser achieves throughput of up to 1400 cards.
It can be delivered with an optional card security-labeling module for an additional level of card security. This innovative solution enables the application of an adhesive plastic layer over a card that serves as impermeable membrane protecting it from outside elements especially the ones threatening the security of data about the holder of the card as well as the security of card in general. The label provides protection from any attempt of forgery.
CAM 3030 has been designed to complete the existing CIM Pro series line and can be set up to stand alone or in-line with other solutions using CIM linkVare application for flawless end-to-end personalization and printing of cards. This plastic module can operate as a separate device or configured with other in-line modules of Pro series.
