This device has been designed for lamination of cards such as ID cards of employees that require certain level of security; then driving licenses, residential access cards, military or police ID cards, access control card, etc. Cards are laminated by applying film i.e. foil of various thickness and at high temperature. Foil is applied over the whole card surface after cards have been personalized and printed.
Depending on the micron unit, it extends the life of cards to between 5 and 10 years.
Foils used for lamination can be transparent in the form of hologram, with print or without it.
This laminator can laminate standard PVC blank cards and PET cards made of endurable and flexible materials that are more long lasting than standard PVC cards.
